Overview

East West Bank is currently seeking a GTS Sales Consultant II to be responsible for developing new Treasury Management service users with the capability of handling moderately complex companies.  Usually assigned to small to mid-sized territories.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes company Treasury operations. Develops, proposes and professional presents comprehensive Treasury Management systems.
  • Works with line account officers or individually develops prospects for sale of Treasury Management services such as automated balance reporting, account reconcilement, remittance banking, etc.
  • Consults with prospects and customers to identify needs and recommend the Treasury Management services to meet those needs. Prepares proposal including pricing.
  • Recommends improvements in existing products or product mix to meet competitive products.
  • Sells to and maintains contact with major accounts within jurisdiction.
  • Keeps informed of current activities in the Treasury Management field including new products and other general information of customers.
  • Serves as liaison between current and potential customers and the bank to resolve questions regarding products/services.
  • Educates line account officers in assigned territory in the knowledge and use of Treasury Management services. Assists them with pre-qualifying prospects with Treasury Management needs.
  • Maintains detailed records related to sales activities. Submits reports on sales and calling.  Collects information for quotations from other departments as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and directly related experience
  • 3 -5 years of related GTS sales experience
  • General knowledge of Treasury Management and general banking services and bank operations
  • Strong sales skills
  • Analytical and research
  • Bank products and services knowledge
  • Written and verbal communication

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $120,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
